So we got to work, designing, testing, and refining a prototype for our own beloved cats. Once we saw how much they loved it (and how easy it was to install), we knew it was time to share it with everyone. The result? A sleek, secure, and cat-approved line of wall perches that bring joy to homes and feline hearts alike.
That’s why we designed our Ascension Line wall perches to be easy to install, even if you’re not a DIY pro. While we don’t offer installation services, we’ve created a simple guide to help you mount your perches safely and confidently.

🗺️ Step 1: Plan Your Cat Kingdom
Before drilling, take a moment to sketch your layout. Measure your wall space, locate your studs, and visualize how your cat will jump between perches. Think about their favorite lounging spots and how high they like to climb!
📐 Step 2: Mark Your Holes
Hold the perch against the wall, use a level to make sure it’s straight, and mark the screw holes with a pencil. Once you’ve decided on the final position, you can place painter’s tape around the edges of the perch to guide your installation. It’s a simple trick that helps you stay aligned, and since painter’s tape is easily removable, it won’t damage your wall.

Drill pilot holes and insert wall anchors if you’re not mounting directly into studs.
🧱 Step 4: Secure the Perch
Align the perch with your markings and screw it into place. We recommend using two screws, placed diagonally, one slightly higher on one side, and the other on the opposite lower corner, for balanced support.

Gently press and wiggle the perch to confirm it’s secure. Then let your cat explore their new vertical playground!

Can I install this on drywall? Yes! If you're not drilling into studs, just use wall anchors (not included) to ensure stability.
What if I don’t have a stud finder? No problem, many hardware stores sell affordable ones, or you can gently tap the wall to listen for solid spots. We recommend using at least one screw into a stud if possible.
Do I need a second person? Not necessarily! The installation is solo-friendly, but having a friend can make leveling and marking easier, and more fun!
Will my cat know how to use it? Most cats are naturally curious and will explore it on their own. You can encourage them with treats or toys if needed! But rest assured: one thing all cats have in common: they love to look down on us!
